Made entirely of solid hardwoods, the top rails are made from
American hard rock maple while every other component is made from
solid American tulipwood. Tulipwood is the wood of choice among
American furniture companies because of its strength, smooth grain
and ability to hold a stain. Hard maple is the wood of choice for a
top rail because of its hardness and ability to withstand the daily
wear and tear of a cue stick.
What’s on the inside of a pool table is just as important as the
outside. Solid tulipwood is used for cross beams while the
double-ply uniliner ties the entire table together. Weyerhaeuser
independent testing laboratories have shown that pool tables made
with the more expensive uniliner can support weight exceeding 15,000
lbs while competitive tables without a uniliner can only support 1/3
the weight. The body cabinet is pre-assembled at the factory with a
uniliner and guaranteed to be square and flat. We pay more for these
pool tables and guarantee them for perfect level and perfect play.
We also use higher quality American made rubber cushions and unlike
our competition we guarantee our rubber cushions for life. Every set
of 1” slate is backed for professional play and inspected and tested
for flatness.
